Machine control skills are an essential component of becoming a great rider. Born out of 25 years of racing and professional road riding heritage, RAPID track courses offer the perfect opportunity to master your machine control skills. Away from the distractions of traffic and road hazards, and with the support of our expert coaching team, we’ll give you the skills to transform your performance and confidence.

Rapid coaches love Blyton Park. With its technically challenging combination of tight chicanes, higher speed ‘Esses’, and long, fast flowing bends and straights, it offers the perfect venue for our BIKEMASTER and track based courses.

  • As it’s just 10 miles off the M180, getting to Blyton Park from most locations is a fast and easy motorway ride.

    Blyton Park is approximately five miles North of Gainsborough in Lincolnshire.

    The address is: Old Blyton Airfield, Kirton Road, Blyton, DN21 3PE.

    The venue is one mile from Blyton village on the B1205 (Kirton Road) and approaching from Blyton the entrance is a mile from the village on the left hand side. There are big signs on both sides of two heavy steel gates and a wartime brick shed next to the entrance. Go through the gates and follow the track past the grass track on your left.

  • MASTER YOUR MACHINE / BIKEMASTER

    To participate in this course you must wear suitable protective equipment including either 1 piece leathers or 2 piece zip-together textile or leathers with back protector. Brake lever guards are not required. You must wear either a full face or flip front helmet.

    TRACKMASTER

    To participate in this course you must wear 1 or 2 piece, zip-together leathers with suitable armour including a back protector. You must also have a full face ACU approved helmet (gold sticker). YOU MUST HAVE A BRAKE LEVER GUARD FITTED TO YOUR BIKE.

  • Regardless of travel distance, track days are always an early start and most riders prefer to make the most of their event by staying over the night before. There is lots of great value accommodation around the Gainsborough and Blyton area.

    Travel Lodge, Gainsborough

    For an affordable stop over, Travel Lodge have a large hotel in the heart of Gainsborough, with local eateries, like the Forge Restaurant and Bar, on the doorstep.

    Hickman Hill Hotel, Gainsborough

    The hotel is family owned and run, the rooms are very comfortable and the food home-cooked and excellent. They are very biker friendly and provided secure, overnight parking. It is also close to the petrol stations so dead handy for topping the tank prior to Blyton Park.

    Grayingham Lodge, Gainsborough

    All the comforts of modern living in a traditional farmhouse, then Grayingham Lodge offers a great bed and breakfast option. Located in a peaceful and tranquil setting, the picturesque lodge has ample, off road and secure parking and is less than 4 miles to Blyton Park.

    Thonock Park, Gainsborough

    Home to two stunning 18 hole golf courses, Thonock Park offers excellent amenities and boutique guest rooms. A great place to relax and unwind, including a fine dining restaurant and Café 19 bar, overlooking the Thonock Park course.
