History:-   My first bike was a Yamaha FS1E DX (yellow & black), which was my pride and joy. Two days before I was due to set off on holiday to the Isle of Man TT I borrowed a neighbours Honda 175 and successfully passed my test. This allowed me to take my Dad's 750 Yamaha (he did know I think!) and put in some faster laps. By this time I was already wobbling around the local race circuits on a Yamaha TR2B 350. Those were the days, and since I have ridden and raced many makes and models of motorcycles at most British circuits with varied success including winning the Manx Senior GP & IoM TT600 Supersport Team Award (Trophies and scars shown at private request). I like the challenge of riding slightly unfashionable machines especially if they are down on power as it keeps the sport bike riders on their toes when you show them a wheel (on the track).
