All,

A rideout in memory of Phil is being arranged for Sunday 3rd September, starting from Banbury and undoubtedly taking in some of his favourite roads from there. It'll start at about 10.00 am.

Please could you post a message here if you're able to come along so that we've got an idea of numbers.

Thanks,

Dan.

I'm really sorry guys, but I wont be able to make it this year due to
work commitments. Will be thinking of you all tomorrow, especially Phil.

Pop a wheelie or two for me! He'd like that!

Dave.

I've just got off the plane from elsewhere so won't be there. Obviously as I'm here and it's happening now...

Having a beer and just got my knee down on the sofa in honour of the occasion though :)

I'm raising a glass to Phil right now and to all of you 'orrible lot too.

Life's short and it doesn't get much better than good mates, fast motorbikes and dry, twisty roads. I'm sure Phil would approve of that sentiment :D

Cheers,

Matt.

Message from Di Curtis

Hi Gary
I wanted to thank you and everyone from Rapid who attended the memorial ride today. It was so kind of them and very much appreciated by Andrew, Alice and myself. We raised £400 for Great Ormond Street which was fantastic and I know Phil would have been chuffed at the response. Would you be kind enough to post my thanks on your web site, I would hate to think our appreciation was
seen by all concerned.
Thanks again
Love Di[/b]

Sorry, haven't been looking at the forum lately so didn't realize the rideout in memory of Phil was taking place. Would have been there had I known especially as the very last time I spoke to him we were planning to go for a rideout together - sorry Phil!

Hi Beefy,

I'm afarid you're 4 years too late, this was in 2006! It would amuse Phil though :)

Cheers,

Phill.
